Christmas Retreat Opening Service: Fill Your Jars

On December 11, the Emanuel Church of Venezuela begins the Christmas Retreat in order to share a time of message, praise, reflections and further strengthen the unity of the Venezuelan members

The retreat began with a time of prayer and praise, where time could be shared with God and everyone could express their devotion and gratitude. Pastor Alexander was in charge of opening with a sermon based on John 2. In his message, he highlighted the miracle of the wedding at Cana, underlining the transforming capacity of Jesus and how this miracle symbolizes the spiritual renewal that He offers to all believers. “Just as Jesus transformed water into wine, He can transform our lives in a deep and significant way, it is about filling our jars even if it seems routine, it is about Faith and Obedience,” said the pastor.

The Venezuelan members had the opportunity to share the grace received through the first sermon, everyone in the community and family could be comforted by this grace received, highlighting the importance of being cleansed with water and being filled with wine, and keeping in mind that The wine process is painful, taking into account that it is the blood of Jesus, we can do many things in our strength but if it is not Him then it is of no use, we have to be spiritual people and not be a shame for the groom and having confidence that Jesus will act in his time. These were some of the meditations that the members shared.

Today the Emanuel church of Puerto Ordaz Venezuela asks for your prayers so that God can fill each heart and be able to work even more with fervent love and maintain the unity and communion of the members
