The representatives met as usual for the regional conference. This time, it was a good time to continue motivating and promoting missionary work.
The meeting was Led by the General Secretary for South America, Pastor Moisés Gonzales. The leader of the South America Mission Department, Pastor Isaac Aranda, from Colombia, led the national missionary report period. He provided figures and statistics on the progress the region has experienced, the problems that have arisen, and the challenges that must be addressed to consistently achieve the best results. The pastor expressed concern because the statistics have decreased, primarily in the number of shared Bible studies. He concluded his presentation by presenting the numbers achieved, emphasizing the number of shared Bible studies and the number of potential students.
Pastor Moisés then continued to emphasize what Pastor Isaac had shared, saying that it’s possible that this presentation was due to a time in which financial work has been introduced in every nation and there is much hope. However,he reminded that “we must not lose sight of the main focus of missionary work, God’s call to our lives, remembering the heart of our mission, which is to make disciples.” He made a heartfelt appeal to feel the weight of every person who lives without hope and needs to know this great salvation.
The meeting was concluded by encouraging and inspiring all the leaders present, telling them that we must feel the love for sharing the word, remembering the word, serving with love, so that a new group of young people may be trained, formed, and presented before the Lord.
