Over the past two days, interviews have been conducted with the 12 candidates who applied for the call seeking missionaries to be sent to Europe. The Mission Departments of Central American and Caribbean (CAC) and South America (SAm) joined forces to select faithful and suitable missionaries to be sent to Europe.
This selection process is progressing successfully. During the 12 interviews, aspects such as English proficiency, a firm and mature faith, the character of a missionary, the willingness to face challenges in new cultures, and obedience to God have been evaluated. As a result, the first six candidates have been preselected to move on to the second phase. In this stage, the missionaries will meet with European leaders to deepen their preparation. It is important to note that those who successfully complete this process will be sent to countries such as Italy (in the regions of Malta and Milan), as well as Poland and Germany.
With this initiative, Latin America takes a firm step in fulfilling the Great Commission. In this time of great opportunity, let us pray and ask the Lord to send laborers to His harvest. We thank the Lord for His guidance throughout this process and pray for His wisdom, strength, and grace to be poured out on our missionary candidates as they say: “Here I am, send me.”
