On January 6, 2025, the first regional meeting of South America was held, bringing together representatives and leaders to address key issues in strengthening our mission and preparing for the challenges ahead.
1. Establishing and raising standards in fellowships
One of the central points was the need to establish fellowships well and maintain a high standard in their development. These must work together with the church, aligned with the regional mission, but maintaining their autonomy. This balance will allow the fellowships to grow and become stronger.
2. Projecting the mission towards new generations
Aware that new families will soon arrive in our communities, the importance of preparing ourselves as a region for future generations was discussed. This commitment involves planning and the creation of an environment that facilitates the growth of families in the countries.
3. Strengthening the faith and family team
The care of family churches falls on a dedicated and committed team. For this reason, the work of Fr. Joanna Park, Fr. Daniela and Mariannys, who have been fundamental pillars in this regard, was recognized and appreciated. Having a solid team ensures that our communities receive the necessary support.
A joint effort for regional progress
The meeting culminated with the preparation of the monthly report, the updating of membership records and the presentation of new members, churches and cities opened in each country. This collective effort reinforces our shared vision and the commitment to continue working together for the growth of our region.
This first meeting marks the beginning of a promising path for South America, where, with faith and unity, we will continue to build a lasting legacy.
