On November 12th, we welcomed the arrival of Pastor Isaac Aranda, Representative of Colombia, and Pastor Jackeline Gutierrez,
Leader of the South American Education Department, to Colombia after having participated in the 32nd World General Assembly and also the training as deacons on Jeju Island.
Pastors Isaac Aranda and Jackeline Gutierrez participated in the 32nd World General Assembly and also in a training program that combines theological training with business strategies. During this process, both pastors not only delved into biblical principles related to business, but also participated in practical activities under the guidance of experienced business leaders.
This program was not only a space for theoretical learning; it allowed the pastors to interact and share experiences with deacons from different parts of the world. These experiences gave them a global perspective on the impact of self-sustaining businesses on the expansion of new churches, since these financial models allow them to generate resources autonomously to support missionary work.
We pray that all the knowledge acquired during this time of training can be put into practice, strengthening the self-sustaining capacity of the mission in Colombia.
